Fall Skin Care Exfoliation and Favorite Products

So here we are full swing into Autumn and it's time we take care of the damage that the beautiful Summer sun has beset upon us. First step would be to go to an Aesthetician who specializes in professional exfoliation treatments such as chemical peels and microdermabasion (not all Aestheticians are educated in these treatments so make sure they have experience and are certified with these advanced modalities). Professional level exfoliation is extremely important because not only does it help your skin with common ailments such as acne, age spots, fine lines etc but once you have that dead layer of skin stripped away your existing skin care will work that much better because it can now sink in and not sit on top of that dead layer of skin.

Infra-Red Sauna

So Ive been going to a locally owned Massage,Yoga, and Pilates Center in Downtown Vancouver for the Infra-Red Sauna called Balanced Bodyworks. For those that don't know about Infra-Red Sauna treatments I have one word "AMAZING"! Infra-Red Sauna is totally different from the usual steam saunas that are found in most health club locker rooms because the IR sauna is not heated by steam and doesn't get nearly as hot and uncomfortable. It heats up to a comfy 125 degrees and even that doesnt feel too hot, just cozy warm.

Re-Starting back in Vancouver

.So here I am the evening before I am set to re-open ASH Organic Skin Care and Waxing in Vancouver, Washington. As many of you know my family and I had moved to Bend Oregon because my partner got a job with Deschutes County Sheriffs Office. Unfortunately right as I was set to open my business down in Bend we found out that my partners job was no longer. So we packed our stuff up and headed back to Vancouver (a blessing in disguise really)
I immediately hit the ground running as soon as we got back in town looking to for places to re-open the shop.
